RealNetworks seeks a Customer Service and Order Entry Specialist to support a world-class sales team for SAFR, our highly accurate, AI-based facial recognition platform.
This full-time, hourly position (40+ hours/week) includes health, dental, PTO, and benefits.
- Salary Range: $24-$29 per hour, depending on experience
- First 6 months: On-site (probation period).
- 6+ months: 1 WFH day/week (based on performance).
- 12+ months: 2 WFH days/week (based on performance).
- 18+ months: Flexible WFH options based on performance and business needs.

As an Order Processor & Order Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient order management while supporting customers and internal teams. You’ll handle order processing, data entry, inventory coordination, and customer communications to maintain smooth operations and excellent service.
In this role, you’ll be:
- Process and Manage Orders – Accurately enter, process, and track sales orders, purchase orders, and return/RMA requests while maintaining complete records.
- Ensure Data Accuracy – Maintain accurate customer and sales data in CRM systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Handle Customer Communications – Respond to customer inquiries (calls, emails, chats) professionally, resolve issues, and escalate as needed.
- Coordinate with Stakeholders – Work closely with customers, sales teams, internal departments (shipping dept), and external partners to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor Inventory & Shortages – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track inventory levels and communicate shortages.
- Manage Order Documentation – Gather and verify necessary documents for orders, including shipping and compliance paperwork.
- Understand & Improve Processes – Quickly learn internal workflows to optimize order processing and fulfillment and adjust as needed or adjust to changes in the business.
- Assist with General Operations – Support occasional inventory tasks or physical order-related activities as needed.
- Support Sales Operations – Assist with scheduling and coordinating sales meetings, events, and reporting as needed.
- Participate in Special Projects – Contribute to ad hoc tasks and initiatives that support operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s Degree (any field) OR all of the following:
- HS or GED;
- 2+ years of order processing experience; and
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Order Processing Experience – 1 year or more in data entry, order processing, or administrative roles in a sales or operations setting.
- Strong Attention to Detail – Ability to accurately enter and verify data to minimize errors.
- Customer Service Skills – 1 year or more of handling customer inquiries (calls, emails, chats) with professionalism and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in CRM & Order Systems – Comfortable working with CRM software, order management systems, or spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets).
- Multitasking & Organization – Capable of managing multiple orders, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.
- Team Collaboration – Ability to work with internal teams (sales, warehouse, shipping) and external partners (vendors, customers).
- Basic Reporting & Analysis Skills – Ability to generate basic sales or inventory reports from databases or spreadsheets.
- Basic Inventory & Documentation Knowledge – Familiarity with tracking stock levels and managing shipping/order paperwork.
- Ability to Adapt & Learn Quickly – Willingness to understand and adjust processes as business needs evolve.
- Basic Physical Capability – Comfortable assisting with occasional inventory tasks or moving boxes if needed.
- 3+ years of experience in order processing or purchase orders.
- 3+ years of customer service experience.
- Experience with ERP or order processing software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Fishbowl).
- B2B or security industry experience – experience working with business customers, access control, surveillance, or security solutions.
- Shipping & Logistics Knowledge – Understanding of shipping carriers, compliance documentation, and order fulfillment workflows.
- Event Coordination Experience – Prior experience organizing sales meetings or trade events.
